Whether you are a beginning student or an advanced student looking to take your Vivation practice to a whole new level, this retreat is for you!
Vivation International is teaming up with Playpoi, one of the most prestigious fire and flow arts schools in the world, to bring you this one of a kind event in Costa Rica. This select group of 20 will undergo a week of Vivation, yoga training and play with the intent of reverse engineering the flow state and sharing it with the world community. Come join us as we unleash the full potential of our super hero selves in paradise. If Vivation and a Shaolin Monastery had a baby it would be this retreat. Our goal is to send you home more present, skilled, empowered and blissed out than you have ever been before. It is sure to be a week you will never forget.
*We’re aiming at tangible personal transformation and the ability to manifest the flow state on demand. We intend to bust through any and all inhibitions that have been holding us back in our lives. Why? Because the world needs more super heroes, and it needs them now!
We begin each morning with a yoga session with Banyan, leading us in body and breath as we greet the rising sun. Then after breakfast we will move into Vivation, with a new lesson and session each day, culminating in mastery of art and skill of Vivation.. Paul will help us cultivate blissful presence in stillness and then transition us into motion for the rest of the days activities. As we become fully charged, master flow artists Nick Woolsey, AlienJon, and Thom Thumb will lead us into increasingly expanded flow states through the ancient art of poi spinning. The poi spinning in this retreat will be a combination of tech, dance, and unique zen challenges. Each night we will come together for tea and share our experiences. After a few days of leveling up we will take our presence and flow into extreme experiences such as the jungle zip line and a graduating fire walking ceremony led by certified Firewalking instructors Paul Hughes and Thom Thumb.
Daily Format:
- Morning Yoga with Banyan

- 2 ½ Hour Vivation Session

- 2 hour Poi Session
- Fun Time for swimming, surfing, etc!

- Evening Tea and Community Circle
- Playtime

Retreat Curriculum and Prerequisites: Willingness
The focus of this retreat is cultivating the ability to manifest the flow state. We have developed curriculum and zen exercises that will be challenging, fun and rewarding for those of any skill level. Our goal is to send you home more present, empowered and blissed out than you have ever been before.
Accommodation: Accommodations are included as part of the course fee and includes several houses and apartments with pool, jacuzzi, wireless internet access and BBQ. All participants will be required to share a room with a maximum of 2 people per room (we’ll place you with someone of the same sex, if need be), A/C, full kitchen and ocean view. If requested, we can place you in a room with a friend or in a house with several friends (up to 4 total).
Getting There: Flights are pretty cheap from many parts of the USA (and even Europe) if you look for them via sidestep.com or Vayama.com. You will fly into the Juan Santamaria International Airport, in San Jose (airport code SJO)
Cost and Registration: The costs will be $1095USD for the week, including six nights of accommodation, tuition, yoga and excursions, but not food. You will have to buy your own food. There are kitchenettes in the bungalows.
